Arsène Wenger stayed close this weekend to give a blow of
authority in the Premiership at Manchester City with a stellar performance of
English Jack Wilshere and Chilean Alexis Sanchez, while "citizens"
made in the final minutes to seal draw (2-2).
The "gunners" and added their third league game
without a win after the 1-1 against lowly Leicester and 2-2 against Everton,
although last Saturday showed some encouraging signs, such as Danny Welbeck
debut English, newcomer of Manchester United, who convinced his hobby but not
added goals to his account.
Less positive were the feelings of the German Mesut Özil,
who re-signed a gray performance against City, and especially the French
Mathieu Debuchy, which had to be replaced shortly before the final whistle for
muscle discomfort and will not play against Dortmund .
Wegner can not have Theo Walcott, with a knee injury, or
the French Olivier Giroud, dragging foot problems. The Borussia Dortmund
meanwhile comes to grief against Arsenal after two consecutive wins in the
Bundesliga and at a time when the club return to Japanese Shinji Kagawa has
generated enthusiasm among followers.
Kagawa was one of the iconic players of the two
consecutive Bundesliga which Dortmund won in 2011 and 2012 and shined in his
return Saturday with a goal and an assist in a 3-1 win against Freiburg.
Kagawa's return, which was no more successful two seasons
at Manchester United, serves as cover for Marco Reus, who was injured for
Germany and will be at least three more days sidelined.
At the time, the arrival of Reus to Dortmund was used to
cover the departure of Kagawa. Now the other way around, albeit temporarily,
and the illusion of many is so great that some other important players talk,
starting with Mats Hummels who just returned to training but probably will not
be ready for tomorrow.
For the Colombian Adrian Ramos, author of one of the
goals against Freiburg, the game will be his debut in the top European club competition.
